Mitsubishi E Designer Software

Engineering Software Mitsubishi Electric brand software (MELSOFT) provides an integrated product suite to reduce the total cost of ownership and speed up time to market. During the engineering stage, MELSOFT products are used to design systems encompassing the entire portfolio of automation products. May 22, 2014 - From what I can tell searching online, E-Designer is the software needed, but I don't see a place I can buy or download it. I found a demo.

Is it possible to connect a special external USB keyboard, for example a numerical block with an ENTER key to change setpoints or a keyboard with special function keys.

The E1000-terminals support PC type keyboards (US English). The keyboard needs to support the USB Human Input Device (HID) driver (this driver is built-in WIN CE). A numerical block with an enter key will work but keyboards with special function keys will not work since these keyboards need a software to be installed on the PC/terminal (a configuration software - the 'normal' keys might work but it depends on the requirements of the keyboard). As there are many different types of external keyboards or numerical blocks we can not guarantee that your selected one will work properly!

I'm not enable to launch again my project on Eview software. I haven´t used my Eview software until 2 months. Before everything was working well. When I launch my project I have a message like that 'no licence found, start in demo mode'.

Do you have E-Designer 7.20 or higher installed ? The reason that E-view crashes when installing E-Designer is that the 2 softwares use a common file. E-Designer installs a new version of the PropertyBag.dll which is not supported by E-view. To solve this the E-view PropertyBag.dll must be in the same directory as the E-view installation. (Same directory as eview.exe) The attached zip file contains 3 files that must be in the same directory as the eview.exe. eview.exe.local PropertyBag.dll toolmgr.cfg The eview.exe.local is an empty file but will make E-view to read the PropertyBag.dll from the local directory instead of the unsupported PropertyBag.dll from the E-Designer installation.

Our customer has protected his application on an E1071 with Network Accounts function for the Ethernet Up/Down load and all works fine; but he needs to protect the HMI application also the Up/Down load via RS232C communication port, so he wrote a password in Command line. With this added function when customer tried to download the application via Ethernet connection the HMI asks for the password, but this isn't possible because the HMI E1071is in a remote place !?! Questions are: Is it possible that 'Network Accounts function' overlap the password ? -> No, this is not possible. Or is possible to disable the access via RS232C port ? -> No, this is not possible either, sorry.

Question: An E1000 project has some buttons to change screen, and this buttons have a level security with a password. It seems that sometimes, when one of these butoons is pressed, the terminal reboots and then shows the keypad to enter the password. Solution: The problem is caused by the moving and not overlapping keyboard function in combination with a password input. The moving and not overlapping keyboard function can be switched off with the system command 'AATIO'. This prevents reboot and screen block. The bug will be corrected in the next version of the image/firmware but the quickest solution/work-around is to use the system command.

An analogue numeric object prevents the project from being downloaded to the HMI, or even simulated with E-Designer.

There is a known problem when having too many dynamic events on one analog numeric. If you have too many the project won’t be downloaded to the panel.
