Pokemon Emerald Rom All Pokemon
This hack of Pokemon Emerald is intended for playing the game on an emulator or nuzlocke purposes. All it pertains to is getting the entire Hoenn Dex (not the National Dex, the same roster is available in that case) without trading and a couple slight modifications to make life easier.

Evolution changes (you cannot get all of these in-game, but they’re all changed for various purposes):
- Machoke, Graveler, and Kadabra evolve by happiness.
- Scyther evolves at level 26.
- Haunter evolves by happiness in the nighttime.
- Feebas evolves by happiness in the daytime.
- Onix evolves at level 45.
- Poliwhirl evolves to Politoed at level 35.
- Porygon evolves at level 24.
- Slowpoke (to Slowking) and Seadra evolve with Water Stone.
- Clamperl evolves via Happiness; Huntail at night and Gorebyss at day.
Also included:
- Running indoors is possible as long as you have the Running Shoes, just like in later games.
- Hackmew’s RNG fix and Pomeg Berry fix.
- Pokemon originally in Ruby and Sapphire but not in Emerald (Lunatone, Zangoose, Meditite, Surskit, and Roselia) are restored but in a limited fashion: all of them are in the first area they appear in those games.
- Treecko is found in Petalburg Woods, Mudkip when surfing on Petalburg City’s water, and Torchic in Granite Cave where you give Steven the letter.
- Feebas can be fished out of Route 114 with a Good Rod. This was introduced for pure convenience.
- The trade in Battle Frontier was altered to give you Jirachi. Meowth has been moved to the Safari Zone.
- The Battle Frontier’s PokeMart has been altered: the actual clerk now sells every TM in the game, and the girl beside him sells Evolutionary Stones and every Berry in the game.
- Every instance of ALL CAPITAL LETTERS has been removed except for a few scant exceptions.
- Ferry Events work now, tickets can be found around Hoenn in normal item pickups. I’m not saying where, but they’re pretty easy to find!
- The last Rival battle uses the fully evolved Starter, because you never got to even see it otherwise.
- Some things in Pokemon Emerald that were changed to green for no reason have been converted to their original colors.
- Improved Pokemon sprites, animations and all.
- A few optional patches: actually notice when it’s day and night, Uncensor trainer sprites, input a few newer game mechanics, or make Emerald a tiny bit more like Ruby and Sapphire! More information in the included FAQ.
For a version of this hack with all 386 Pokemon obtainable, please see Complete National Dex Edition. If you’d rather the edited evolutions be done by new evolution stones, check out Stone Clones.

OrdannonsX's reviews: Pokémon Emerald
Yep, it just has to be done; I’m doing a review on a Pokémon game. Like many people on Vizzed, I’m a big fan of the Pokémon games. The Pokémon games are simple to pick up and play, but are so deep that few will actually play any Pokémon game to their fullest potential. Pokémon Emerald is actually my second favourite game in the franchise as well. I got it after having gotten Pokémon Ruby for my birthday. I loved how it was just so much more ‘complete’ than any Pokémon game before it. I’ll keep my introduction short; without further ado, let’s get going.
The Graphics
Like in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, once you turn on the Game Boy Advance, a shining star sparkles across your little screen, and the Game Freak logo shows up. A drop of water slowly slides down from a leaf and then drops down… That animation is just so fluid and gorgeous! And this doesn’t just go for the intro sequence only; the entire game moves flawlessly, and all the sprites -human, Pokémon and objects- are vividly detailed. However, how much praise this game’s visuals deserve, there aren’t many graphical upgrades from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Perhaps the biggest improvement Game Freak made in terms of visuals are that at the start of every battle, the Pokémon sprites move; making the Pokémon seem to come to live even more. But in all fairness, that’s the only notable upgrade I could spot in Pokémon Emerald. The quality looks exactly the same as in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. However, if I would have reviewed one of those games, I would’ve easily scored the graphics a 9, at the least. It just looks that good. Considering it does, I’m giving Pokémon Emerald’s graphics a solid score of a 7. There aren’t many improvements to be found here, but what’s still here still looks breathtaking.
The Sound
Same story here, the sound already was great in Ruby and Sapphire, but they haven’t been improved by much. However, somehow I just could not find it in my heart to not at least score the sound with anything lower than an 8. The music is so catchy, and the SFX (from the obvious ones like Pokémon cries in battles to the little details like the splashy sound you hear when you step into a pool of water) is so well done. When you keep an ear out in the wild, you can hear the little cries of Pokémon coming from the tall grass, giving you the feeling you are in a living, breathing environment. When the rain starts pouring down, it’s not just like watching water drops falling down. The intense sound of the water clattering on the ground really makes it feel like you’re standing outside in a heavy rainstorm. I can’t imagine how it’s even possible to get so immersed in a small cartridge in a little machine such as the Game Boy Advance, but somehow, Pokémon Emerald got me hooked. Again, there haven’t been done many improvements from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, but that doesn’t mean that the sound is bad. On the contrary, the audio just doesn’t get much better on the Game Boy Advance.
The Addictiveness
The amount of hours I put into playing Pokémon Emerald is what some call just ridiculous. Or as I like to call it, a reasonable amount of time. ;) Like in all Pokémon games, there is just so much you can do. Catching Pokémon is ever so fun. Training your Pokémon into powerhouses, perfecting your team and testing your skills against the eight Gym Leaders never fails to lose it’s thrill. Speaking of thrills, encountering an ultra-rare shiny Pokémon is an amazing experience, and makes you want to keep playing even more. The music you hear when you beat a tough Gym Leader, or catch a Pokémon makes it all feel nothing short of awesome.
The Story
I agree with most people who say that the gist of the story in every Pokémon game is pretty much the same. You’re a boy/girl who’s just turned 10, and sets off on a Pokémon journey. You train your Pokémon, earn badges, breaking up an evil group of criminals and defeating the Elite Four and become the champion of the region. That’s the gist of it. But Pokémon Emerald has more stores for you, even though a lot of people tend to overlook it, or simply don’t acknowledge it. The gist of the story is far-famed, we all know it well so I won’t go into details about it. But I’ll talk about the little things, the side-story. Instead of having only one single rival -May/Landon- There’s Barry (my favourite rival in any Pokémon game), a frail, ill boy who’s biggest wish it is to raise Pokémon. You meet him in Petalburg City, living with his concerned parents. You teach him to catch a Pokémon, as he afterwards immediately moves to Verdanturf Town where his parents hope the clean air there will cure him of his disease. From there, he does indeed recover, and sets out on a journey, becoming one of the strongest, most respectable rivals you’ll ever face in any Pokémon game.
Then there’s Team Magma and Team Aqua. And this is where Pokémon Emerald makes its biggest improvement over Ruby and Sapphire. They both have an ambition of making the world a better place (in their eyes) by expanding either the Earth’s land, or the ocean. They need to wake up and control the legendary Pokémon of either earth and water to complete their master plan. But the Pokémon are uncontrollable, as a fierce battle between the two break out, and Team Magma and Team Aqua stand on the sidelines powerless. Then a huge Pokémon ascends from the skies, calming down the two Pokémon, restoring peace to the regions once more. It’s these side-stories which actually have nothing to do with you as a character (I mean, you’re just a boy or girl on a Pokémon journey) but make you get so involved with the world around you, making the plot that much more engaging. Game Freak, thank you for finally making the storyline in a Pokémon game interesting.
The Depth
Do you want to catch ‘em all? Me too! I’ve always been annoyed by either needing a friend with a different Pokémon game of the same generation to trade Pokémon with, or simply buying the other Pokémon games to really catch ‘em all. I see through you, Nintendo, with your clever methods to make people buy your games! ;) Well, Pokémon Emerald has a lot more Pokémon for you to catch in a single game. And, whereas Ruby and Sapphire only had the Battle Tower for you to compete in after the Elite Four, Pokémon Emerald has the Battle Frontier. This is like a series of tournaments to really determine if you are the biggest and baddest trainer out there. There are contests throughout the entire region for you to participate in, and you could play with friends to make berries together! Fun! Every Pokémon has their own personality, which determines the way they grow, and how they fight in one of the contests. And the training system… It is so deep, that I won’t explain too much about it. The gist of it is this: When your Pokémon defeats an opposing Pokémon, it gains Effort Values depending on the opponents stats. If your Pokémon defeats a speedy opponent, it gains an extra Effort Value on speed, etc. This ensures that no Pokémon will be trained in the same way. It’s so in-depth, I… My mind just fails to comprehend it sometimes. I rarely give straight 10s, and I promised my self to be very strict about that, but I can’t see how I would score the Depth of a Pokémon game lower than a perfect 10.
The Difficulty
It is commonly known that most Pokémon games aren’t very difficult. Training your team is simple and however you may lose your first try at any Gym battle, it’ll give you insight on the Leaders Pokémon and their levels, giving you the knowledge of which level your team should be to beat the Leader and move on to the next one. There are no consequences like Game Over, so you could see it as Trial & Error. Lose the first time, learn from it, and practice and try again. However, I do think that some parts in the game are dumbed down even more. For example, May/Landon is a complete pushover. Her/his starter Pokémon is never fully evolved, and her/his team is often very underlevelled keeping in mind the progress you most people have made at the point of the game where you come across May/Landon. Luckily, there is a second rival in the game, namely Barry, who actually poses a serious challenge on Victory Road. But all in all, this game isn’t very difficult as a Pokémon standard.
Phew. I gave this game a lot of praise in these past hours. And with good reason. Pokémon Emerald is without a doubt the best Pokémon in the franchise up until now, and it will be difficult for future instalments to surpass it. I know, in the introduction I said that Emerald is my second favourite game of the franchise, but that’s because I hold Pokémon Gold close to my heart for nostalgia reasons. As for the game’s ratings, at first glance Pokémon Emerald may seem like more of the same to most players. But subtle changes in the visuals and the story keeps the game fresh and addictive.
Pros:
-A large world full of life and detail
-Really catchy music
-Deepest storyline ever in a Pokémon game
-Tons of stuff to come back for
Cons:
-Most of the game may seem like more of the same to most people

[Altering Cave]
You can go to Altering Cave after you beat the Elite Four. It is located on Route 103.
[Battle Frontier]
Once you beat the game, you can go to the Battle Frontier.
[Berry Master's Wife Passwords]
Tell the Berry Master's Wife certain phrases to receive the following berries. You can only tell her one of these each day:
CHALLENGE CONTEST (You will receive a Pamtre Berry)
COOL LATIOS (You will receive a Durin Berry)
GREAT BATTLE (You will receive a Spelon Berry)
OVERWHELMING LATIAS (You will receive a Watmel Berry)
SUPER HUSTLE (You will receive a Belue Berry)
[Catching Gold/Silver/Crystal Pokémon at the Safari Zone]
After you defeat the Elite Four go to the Upgraded Safari Zone. In the Safari you can catch GSC Pokemon such as Houndour, Aipom, Stantler, Mareep, Miltank, and more. This Unlockable only works in Pokemon Emerald.
[Fishing Rods]
- Good Rod: Talk to fisherman on route 118
- Old Rod: Talk to fisherman near Dewford Gym
- Super Rod: In the house north of the Space Center
[Glass Items]
To the right of Fallarbour Town is Route 113 where there is a house in which a man will make you items if you bring him ash. To collect ash, walk through the ash covered grass. Then bring it to the glass item maker:
- Black Flute: Walk 1,000steps in the ash.
- Blue Flute: Walk 250 steps in the ash.
- Pretty Chair: Walk 6,000 steps in the ash.
- Pretty Desk: Walk 8,000 steps in the ash.
- Red Flute: Walk 500 steps in the ash.
- White Flute: Walk 1,000 steps in the ash.
- Yellow Flute: Walk 500 steps in the ash.
[National Pokédex]
After you beat the Elite 4 Professor Birch will visit you and give it to you once you leave your house.
[Prizes from Scott]
Talk to Scott in his house in the Battle Frontier and he'll give you certain decorations/berries depending on your accomplishments in the Battle Frontier:
- Gold Shield (Decoration): Win 100 Battles
- Lansat Berry: Obtain all Silver Frontier Symbols
- Silver Shield (Decoration): Win 50 Battles
- Starf Berry: Obtain all Gold Frontier Symbols
[Special Unlockable Pokémon]
There are certain pokémon that can only be caught when you trigger certain events, like castform:
- Beldum: Go to Steven's house after you beat the Elite four.
- Castform: Take out the rival team at the weather institute.
- Chikorita, Cyndaquil or Tododile: When you complete the 200 Pokémon of Hoenn Professor Birch will call you on your Pokénav.
- Deoxys: Get the Aurora Ticket, and go to Birth Island
- Groudon: Beat the Elite Four, and go to the land lair.
- Ho-oh/Lugia: Get the Mystic Ticket, and go to Navel Island
- Kyogre: Beat the Elite Four, and go to the sea lair.
- Latios or Latias: After beating the elite four, watch the T.V. downstairs in your house.
- Latios or Latias: Mix records with a Ruby or Sapphire with the Eon ticket, and go to Southe
Island.
- Mew: Get the Old Sea Chart, and go to Faraway Island
- Rayquaza: Get Magma and Aqua to get Kyogre and Groudon out of the cave, and go to Sky Pillar.
- Treeko, Torchic, or Mudkip: Help Proffesor Birch escape the wild pokemon
[National Pokédex Diploma]
Capture all 386 pokémon in your pokédex. Then go to the hotel in Lilycove City and talk to the Game Designer.
[Trainer Card Color Upgrades]
As you accomplish more along your jou
ey, your Trainer Card will change colors and rise in rank, depending on completing certain tasks. After completing one task, it will rise in one rank, but there are some tasks that cannot be completed until beating the Elite Four. You must do these tasks:
-Become Pokémon League Champion
-Complete the Hoenn Pokedex
-Collect all the gold symbols in the Battle Frontier
-Win one ribbon in all five of the Master Rank Pokémon Contests
Unlockables:
- Bronze Rank: Do one of the tasks mentioned above.
- Copper Rank: Do two of the tasks mentioned above.
- Silver Rank: Do three of the tasks mentioned above.
- Gold Rank: Do all four of the tasks mentioned above.
[Training on Hills]
To unlock Trainer Hill, you must beat the Elite Four.
EASTER EGGS
[Getting Latias or Latios]
After you defeat the Elite Four, go to your house and watch the television downstairs. After you watch it, your mom will ask you what color the Pokémon is. If you say Red, you will find Latias. If you say Blue, it will be Latios.
[Getting the Other Lati]
To get the other Lati (Latios or Latias), Mix Records with a Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire game that used the Eon Ticket. You can then get to a hidden island via the SS Tidal where you can find the Lati you didn't choose.
[Shiny Pokémon]
Every time you encounter a pokémon you have a 1/8192 chance of the pokémon being a different color, this is called a shiny pokémon
SECRETS
[Battle Steven, the Former Champion]
After beating the Elite Four, a new part of Meteor Falls opens up. It is in the northweste
co
er where you found Iron Tail. A new cave was made and you'll find Steven in it. His Pokemon are in the high 70's.
[Compound Eyes Second Effect]
If your fist pokémon is holding Compound Eyes then the chance of running into a wild pokémon holding an item increases by 50 percent.
[Cut's Avoiding Battle Effect]
Have a Pokémon use CUT to remove grass where wild Pokémon live. It will remove the chance of encountering wild Pokémon. The grass will regrow once you leave the area or enter a building.
[Cute Charm's Second Effect]
If you have a Pokémon with Cute Charm 1st in your Party it will more likely draw Wild Pokémon with the opposite gender of the Pokémon with Cute Charm.
[Hatching Eggs Faster]
Simply put a pokémon with the ability Flame Body or Magma Armor on your team to cut the amount of steps needed to hatch an egg in half.
[Get the Mental Herb]
In one of the treehouses in Fortree City is a man with a Wingull. Talk to the Wingull, and it will fly off out of the treehouse. When you get to Mossdeep City, you will see a person with a Wingull. Talk to it and it will fly off as well. Then go back to Fortree City and into the treehouse where you talked to the first Wingull. Talk to the man next to the Wingull, and he will give you the Mental Herb. It is a hold item that prevents attraction to the Pokémon that is holding it.
[Hustle's Second Effect]
If you have a Pokémon with Hustle 1st in your Party it will draw Wild Pokémon that are a Higher Level than the Pokémon holding Hustle.
[Inherit Pokémon Natures through breeding]
To do this you need an Everstone. To get one, search in Granite Cave for a lone rock on top of a plateau. Once you get an Everstone let a Ditto or a female Pokémon that you are breeding hold on to it. Once you receive and hatch the eggs, the offspring will have a 50% chance of inheriting the Nature from the Pokémon holding the Everstone.
[Intimidate and Keen Eye's Other Ability]
If you put a Pokémon that has intimidate or Keen Eye 1st in your party the chances of wild Pokemon encounter is reduced by 10%.
[Lightningrod's Second Ability]
If you have a pokémon with lightningrod as an ability, you will get calls from registered trainers more often.
[Magnet Pull's Secondary Effect]
If you have a pokémon with the Magnet Pull ability in th front of your party it increases the chances of finding wild steel-type Pokemon.
[Mirage Island]
Mirage Island is an invisible Island located on Route 130. Most of the time it will be invisible but on rare cases, the island will be visible. To find out if the island is there or not, go to Pacifidlog Town and talk to the old man in the bottom right house looking out the window. He will tell you whether the island is there or not. The cause is unknown, so a bit of luck is needed to find it. On the island you will find the rare Leichi Berry that powers up your Pokémon's attack in battle when it gets weak. In the grass, you will only find Wild Wynauts.
[Mystery Gift]
To unlock mystery gift, go to a pokémart and press A on the piece of paper on the counter. Then insert the words LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL. Press select to easily find the words. After this the store lady will talk to you and tell you that the mystery gift is now unlocked.
[Static's Secondary Effect]
If you have a pokémon with the Static ability in the front of your party, it increases the chance of finding a wild electric type pokémon. This is EXTREMELY useful for finding such rare types like Pikachu in the Safari Zone.
[Suction cups/Sticky hold's second ability]
If a pokémon in your party has suction cups/sticky hold held then you will have an easier time fishing for wild pokémon.
[Swarm's Second Ability]
The Pokémon ability Swarm has 2 effects. It raises Bug-type attacks by 150% when the user is weak, and new to Emerald, it makes pokémon cry in the background more often. For example, in caves outside of battle you will hear a Pokémon screech more often.
[Synchronize's Second Ability]
If you have a pokémon with synchronize as an ability, you will encounter more pokémon with the same nature as the pokémon with sychronize. Note that the pokémon with this ability must be in the front of your party.

They weren't being dumb or :killing' their company, vizzed, and all rom sites are incredibly illegal, and a form of pirating, so Nintendo took care of the pirates.
Sir-metaknight2 03-31-16 - 05:18 PM
I agree, nintendo can be really stupid sometimes
Zekrom1247 03-25-16 - 09:31 AM
